Settle into your space and join me for a grounding morning yoga practice. Whether seated or lying down, this session is designed to ease you into your day with gentle movements and focused breathwork. We start by connecting to our bodies through soft, flowing motions, and then transition into a seated or lying position to deepen that connection with a mindful breath practice, including San Arritti breathing for balance and calm.
This session focuses on waking up the body with slow circles, stretches, and breathwork that help align the spine, release tension, and open up the muscles after a night’s rest. As we move through various poses like seated side bends, gentle leg stretches, cat-cow flow, and simple twists, you'll find yourself grounding into the present moment. The practice encourages you to listen to your body, allowing movement and stillness to coexist naturally.
We’ll explore stretches for the sides of the body, posterior chain, and spine, releasing any tightness with a focus on moving at your own pace. As we continue, you’ll engage in standing poses and transitions into downward dog, where the body finds space and freedom in gentle lunges and twists.
We end by easing into Shavasana, giving your body the chance to rest and absorb the energy you've cultivated. This practice offers a space to settle into stillness before stepping off the mat, with a focus on grounding intentions to carry through your day.
