This morning yoga session begins with a warm welcome, inviting you to get comfortable with a blanket or cushion to support your posture. We ease into the practice with a bit of breathwork and gentle touch to the neck to stimulate the vagus nerve. You're encouraged to settle into your space, becoming present and noticing how your body feels as we begin to move slowly.
Next, we explore soothing neck stretches and the power of conscious touch. You're invited to observe the emotional tone in your body, noticing whether you feel light or heavy today. As you gently move through neck circles and mindful breathing, you can start to release tension, creating space and comfort within your body.
The practice continues with soft movements like shoulder rolls, twists, and seated stretches. You're guided to breathe deeply and move with ease, listening to your body without any rush. Each movement aligns with your breath, designed to gently wake up the body and bring a sense of calm to your morning.
As the session winds down, you transition into grounding postures like Child’s Pose and Cat-Cow, allowing your body to relax fully. We take a moment to reconnect with your heart space, giving you time to reflect and settle into stillness. You’re reminded to carry this peaceful energy with you as you move into your week, feeling calm and cantered.
